Mobile Studio Prototype for an Artist of the new Millenium ,1998

  • Date Completed: 1998

This space was conceived as a large, mobile, functional sculpture. Two cylindrical shapes converge in a radio that measures 1,50 m. The piece’s height, 3 m, expands the small space.
“Mobile Studio…” was an imaginative proposal where the artist’s bare necessities were resolved in a minimalistic, stylish space that combined: a foldable bed, a desk and computer, a small shower, a sink and a kitchenette. The idea was to make this studio portable and easy to install anywhere. It was inspired by a foldable bathroom designed by architect Buckmeister Fuller.
